Everyone can make a difference in their own way. 10-year-old Emily wanted to raise money to help children access clean water – so she decided to get people to sponsor her for swimming laps at her local swimming pool.

Not only did Emily swim a total of 80 laps in one hour, she managed to raise a total of $1425 – enough to provide a community with clean water!
“I got tired but what kept me going was thinking of how much they need it … I think it’s important that children get clean water to keep them healthy,” Emily says.
