This is Claudemiro’s mum, Mercedes.
“My younger children are healthier than the older ones were at their age. I think this is because they’ve had more access to doctors and nurses at our health centre. I’m very thankful for that,” she says.

Claudemiro’s family farms crops like potatoes and barley, as well as raising animals like these sheep.
“We take what we grow to market and then sell it to buy what we need, including more seeds,” says Mercedes.
World Vision supports families with training and tools to improve their farming practices, so they can better provide for their children.
