mother Lakshmi gave birth just three days ago, to a beautiful little
boy. Vandana has come to check up on the baby’s health, and to give
Lakshmi guidance on how to best care for her little bundle of joy.
Vandana is one of 41 local health volunteers who have been trained and supported by World Vision’s child sponsorship program to monitor the health of infants in their communities.They use a mobile phone app to track the progress of women’s pregnancy and children’s growth, so they can help to ensure both mother and child stay healthy.
