When Satyan was 14, he had to drop out of school and start working as a manual labourer to support his family. After years of hard work for little money, World Vision helped Satyan to enrol in a vocational program where he learned to become an electrician. Now 26, Satyan has a source of reliable income and a job he enjoys! “I earn twice what I was earning when I was a daily labourer,” says Satyan. “We have a good house. We are able to buy good food and now I can sponsor my sister’s college education.”
